Have you ever wondered what it would be like to go glamping? Think about it on a scale of 1-10 for how fun you think it will be.

You’re probably thinking, hold on, glamping is just like camping. So how could it be more fun? Well, think about it like this. You’re going on a camping trip with your family and you find the perfect spot.

You get everything set up, and what do you see? A tent or two and sleeping bags. Maybe a spot for a grill and a place for a toilet. With a roaring fire dead center in the middle.

You know, it actually sounds pretty good just like that honestly. But, what if instead of a tent, you had a fort! Instead of a simple grill, you have a full kitchen! Instead of a spot for a toilet, you have a pop-up restroom!

Now that sounds like glamping. Going camping in style! How awesome is that! You get to experience the traditional camping experience, but with all the comforts of home!

At Outdoorcampingadvice, we adore the traditional camping experience much more. We’ll recommend the traditional way of camping over going glamping most days. However, it doesn’t mean we don’t go glamping now and then!

Ok, now that’s out of the way, and you understand just how cool glamping is and could be for you. So cool in fact, that traditional-only campers like us decided to give it a try! Let’s get into our top 3 reasons that you should give glamping a try.

#1 – The Comforts Of Home:

As we mentioned previously, when you go glamping, you do not have to “suffer through” all of the things you have to do when going traditional camping.

You won’t have to source a bathroom, (like having to pee behind a tree), and you will NOT ever be cold in your tent. As we said, it’ll feel just like home.

Typically, when going glamping, people will bring full kitchens, full bathrooms, and even full-service showers! This is so that you can feel right at home in the bush!

#2 – The Beauty Of Nature:

Getting out in nature for days at a time has never been easier! Some of the best memories are made while outdoor camping, and glamping is like camping on steroids, so no matter where you go, you’re bound to have a blast when you go glamping! you are not only right in the middle of nature, but you’ll be totally comfortable in the middle of nature.

Yes, there are side effects of any camping adventure such as bugs, etc. You’ll usually find bugs wherever you go though. No matter what form of camping you do. As much as you want to explore nature, nature wants to explore you and what you have to offer as well. It’s a give and take.

#3 – It’s A Healthy Activity:

Glamping is a healthy activity because it’s just like camping, only easier and way comfier. You’ll still gain all of the benefits you would typically gain from traditional camping while not having to camp traditionally.

You’ll be outside, and that is the healthiest thing that you can do for your body. Especially if you’re indoors a lot of the time. (Working from home, etc.).

(Glamping Bonus: Less Creature Curiosity)

For those who love to go camping, but can’t stand all of the bugs and bug bites. Or you don’t like having to deal with the critters. Glamping is your problem solver. Though it’s typically a more expensive activity, you can still find a lot of great deals on glamping equipment. For example, look at amazon’s huge list of glamping supplies HERE. This way, you can get a general idea of what glamping gear is out there.

To Sum It Up:

Like we mentioned before, glamping is a great way of going camping. Even more so if you are someone who loves the outdoor scene and camping, but the main thing that prevents you from going is all the insects. In that case, then let glamping solve your issue. You can bring a huge fort if you need to!
